How To Make Marry Me Pasta

Start by placing a pan on medium heat. Add a generous knob of butter along with a decent drizzle of olive oil. The oil prevents the butter from burning and helps create a smooth base. Allow the butter to melt completely until it becomes slightly foamy.

Finely chop the garlic cloves and add them to the melted butter. Sauté gently for about 30–60 seconds until the garlic becomes fragrant and lightly golden. Be careful not to burn it, as burnt garlic can taste bitter.

Chop the sun-dried tomatoes (I have not chopped it because I like the non-chopped ones in my pasta) into small pieces and add them to the pan. Stir well so they soak up the buttery garlic flavor. Let them cook for 1–2 minutes, allowing them to soften and release their rich, tangy taste.

Sprinkle in crushed black pepper and red chilli flakes according to your spice preference. This step builds the flavor profile, adding both heat and depth. Stir everything together so the spices evenly coat the mixture.

Lower the heat slightly and add the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir continuously so the cheese begins to melt smoothly into the mixture without clumping.

Slowly add the fresh cream, stirring constantly. The sauce will start to turn rich, creamy, and velvety. Let it simmer gently for 2–3 minutes until it thickens slightly. You can add a pinch of oregano here for an extra layer of aroma.

Add the boiled pasta directly into the sauce. Toss everything together so the pasta is evenly coated in the creamy mixture. Let it cook together for another 1–2 minutes so the flavors fully blend.
